An Alabama native, Marilyn taught high school history in the state of Georgia for 30 years. After retirement, she joined her husband, Ron, as a Realtor. She has lived all over the state of Georgia and chose to live in the mountains of North Georgia for retirement. She and Ron have two children and two grandchildren. Their son, Thomas, joined them at RE/MAX® when he returned home after serving as a Marine for five years. Thomas is now a small arms repairer with the Anniston Army Depot in northern Alabama. Shannon, their daughter, and grandchildren, Davis and Annabelle, live in Dalton, GA. Shannon has been a high school English teacher for 14 plus years now. Davis and Annabelle are active in every sport and activity that can reasonably fit into their schedules.

Marilyn has been heard to refer to the fact that her grandchildren are very close to perfect. Marilyn maintains a strong sense of fairness and chooses to follow the Golden Rule daily. Marilyn wants everyone to be able to experience the bliss of the mountains of North Georgia as she assists buyers and sellers
