Today, Ron considers himself a Georgia native. He is the son of a career Army officer and a former beauty queen from Mississippi. His family lived all over the world and settled in Georgia after his father's retirement from the Army. Ron is a retired teacher and coach. After 32 years with public school systems around the state of Georgia, he chose to live in the mountains of North Georgia. Assisting buyers and sellers achieve their objectives is Ron's main goal concerning real estate. He is considered a leader in the community in Fannin County, Georgia. He has gained respect by always dealing with the people in a fair and honest manner. His many testimonials from past customers in real estate continue to prove that he has the integrity needed to allow buyers and sellers to have a great real estate experience. If you have the occasion to meet some of his students or players, they will tell you that Coach Harbin is a great motivator and always remembers the Golden Rule.

Ron and his wife, Marilyn, have two children and two grandchildren. Ask him about his grandchildren and be prepared to listen for a while. He describes them as perfect in every way!!!
