"After finding myself spending most of my vacations in the North Georgia Mountains, staying in cabins leased from the nice people at Tica Cabin Rentals, I finally decided to get serious about buying a cabin of my own.

During a visit in May 2005 I previewed a property on a Wednesday afternoon and looked at it again on Friday morning before returning to Florida that afternoon. I thought about it on the drive home and for a few days more. Will I make an offer? Should I have a buyer's agent? How difficult will this process be long distance?

I decided to contact the listing agent, Ron Harbin, directly to present my offer. Am I glad I did! As an out-of-state buyer he stayed in touch with me by telephone every step of the way. After the selected closing agent really dropped the ball, it was Ron that jumped in. He explained our situation to another closing agent that got the closing completed in two weeks!

Ron was also very helpful in leading me in the right direction regarding appraisal, insurance, utilities, etc. This out-of-state buyer surely found the right agent to work with!

"I'm writing to let you know how happy we are with our new house and to thank you for all your help and support.

You went above and beyond the call of duty during our search for our dream house. Right from the beginning when we contacted you with an e-mail, you responded to all our inquiries and kept in touch with us until we arrived in Georgia. You drove us to every house we wanted to see and gave us honest professional opinions about what we saw.

When we finally found our "Wow" house, you helped us enormously with the closing deal and you got us in our house two weeks later.

On top of that, it was so nice of you to drive us all over when my car broke down on the day of the closing. You went out of your way when I'm sure you had other things to do.
I spent six weeks at the cabin and was so sad to return to Florida. Ellijay and Blue Ridge are so beautiful I know we'll be spending most of our time up there.
